Premier Tax Inc opened in Hudson Wisconsin in September of 2015. Wendy Byl had a mission to provide professional tax services at an affordable price. She started with no clients and has grown to over 800 clients with a 95% retention rate and added four additional employees. This has been accomplished by providing our clients with exceptional customer service and knowledgeable tax planning and preparation. In 2009 I left my corporate job and jumped right into tax preparation when I purchased an H & R Block office in Northern WI. In 2013 my family decided to move back to the Hudson/New Richmond area to be closer to family. I worked at a tax firm in Stillwater for 2 years always knowing I would eventually open my own office. In September of 2015 I opened Premier Tax in Hudson WI. After 30+ years in the working world, I found my passion in tax preparation and consulting. I love working with clients to get the best outcome possible on their taxes. I look forward to doing this for many years to come! I live southwest of New Richmond with my husband of 32 years, Jon, and my son Blake who is 16 and a junior in high school.

I have been in the Hudson area since 2013 and decided to join the Premier Tax team after many years in operations. As crazy as it sounds, I love numbers, spreadsheets, and learning new tax laws that can help my clients. My primary focus is on getting to know every one of my clients and learning their unique story to help them achieve their best financial outcome on their taxes. I enjoy traveling, reading, baking, cooking, and spending time with my family. My husband and I have one daughter Aubree, who is 20 and currently a student at UWSP.

I started the business with Wendy in 2015 and worked the first year. After that, I moved on to pursue other things. I obtained my Associated Degree in Human Services. I worked in banking over the next 7 years. I’m happy to be back at Premier Tax and look forward to expanding my knowledge of tax preparation. I live in Roberts WI with my husband Nick. We have 3 children Ryan 13, Carson 3, and Harper who was born in October 2023. I am Wendy’s niece.

I started working part time at Premier Tax in 2018. You may not see me when you come in as I do tax work behind the scenes and do not meet with clients. I have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from St Cloud State. I’m a CPA and work full time for the State of Minnesota in Auditing. I live in Lake Elmo with my wife Kim. We have two grown children. Ryan (Dani) and Aly. We also have two fur babies still at home. My wife and Wendy’s husband are cousins.
